SCRIPTURE MEMORIZATION:

ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT HABITS TO GET INTO THAT WILL HELP YOU GROW AS A NEW CHRISTIAN IS MEMORIZING BIBLE VERSES. IN PSALMS 119:11 THE BIBLE SAYS, “I HAVE HIDDEN YOUR WORD IN MY HEART THAT I MIGHT NOT SIN AGAINST YOU.” MEMORIZING BIBLE VERSES AND DOING WHAT THEY SAY, WILL HELP YOU TO FIGHT AGAINST TEMPTATION AND INSTRUCT YOU TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO MEMORIZE THE VERSE BELOW TO GIVE YOU A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE TOPIC OF SALVATION. John chapter 3, verse 16, or abbreviated, it would look like this John 3:16. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:3, 7 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God… You should not be surprised at my saying, “You must be born again.” Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded us saying, “You must be born again.” In this lesson you should learn: A. Why we need to be saved. B. How God has provided for our salvation. C. How we can have that salvation personally. Before you start, PRAY. Ask God’s Holy Spirit to open your heart to receive His Word and to show you how to apply it in your life. Do not copy the scriptures, but answer the questions briefly and in your own words
